What Is a DGCA Class 2 Medical and Why Is It Important?
Before you begin your pilot training in India, you must prove that you are medically fit to fly. The DGCA Class 2 Medical is the first official medical requirement under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for anyone starting their aviation journey.
It certifies that your physical and mental health meet the standards needed for safe flight operations. Every aspiring pilot, whether planning to pursue a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) must complete this step before advancing to the Class 1 medical.
At Aviators of Tomorrow, we assist students through every part of the process, from selecting an authorized doctor to completing your DGCA registration and receiving your fitness certificate.
